speed is defined as distance per unit time.
si unit is
s=d/t
it is scaler quantity
si unit is
s=d/t
it is scaler quantity

HELLO DEAR,
★ Speed ★ :-
The distance travelled by a body per unit time is called speed.
∴ [ its unit is = meter/second (m/s) ]
here, is the formula ,
Speed = Distance Travelled/Time taken
(V = s / t) m/s
where,
v = speed , s = distance travelled , t = time taken
★ It is a scalar quantity because it has only magnitude and does not have direction. So we know vector means (Vectors are quantities which have described by both a magnitude and a direction).
hence it is scalar quantity
I HOPE ITS HELP,
THANKS
