SI units of measurement are thise that are used world wide for measuring varioues quantities both vector and scalar.

Earlier, scientists had different measuring units for things which lead to difficulty in conveying of information to eachother

Thus the SI unit system was created

eg. m/s for speed, kg for weight etc
