Structural isomers.. the carbon compounds having similar molecular formula but have different structural formula are called isomers and the phenomena is known as isomerism.

The reason is having the covalents bonds in their atoms.

Isomers are organic compounds having same molecular fromulae but different structural formulae. Fro example, pentane, isopentane, etc.

There is no shortcut to find the no. Of isomers. But u can use a brain map like the no. Of isomers a compound has is equals to the no. By reducing 2 from the no. Of carbon atoms in the compounds.
Example, pentane has 5 carbon atoms therefore 5-2=3 which are namely, n-pentane iso-pentane and neo-pentane.
