PROTEIN :

\leadsto Protein are the building blocks of the body and life.

\leadsto Proteins are commonly found in all the living organsims.

STRUCTURE OF PROTEIN :

  • Proteins are chain of the amino acids.
  • This amino acids are linked to each other and makes chain in the body.
  • The chain of protein is formed by hydrogen bonding in the polypeptide chain.
  • Structure of protein are classified into three levels they are : primary, secondary, tertiary and Quaternary.

1. Primary :

\longrightarrow The primary structure of protein is formed by chain of amino acids.

2. Secondary :

\longrightarrow It is formed by the bonding of hydrogen in polypeptide chain.

3. Tertiary :

\longrightarrow It is a coiled structure.

4. Quaternary :

\longrightarrow The proteins which have multiple polypeptide chains forms the large complex protein.
