Hey dear....

Here is your answer....

✨Sublimation :

➡️Sublimation is the process in which solids get directly converted to gases without changing to liquid or vice versa.

⭕How Sublimation Works

➡️Substances such as water and carbon dioxide (CO2) can be charted on a pressure versus temperature plot to reveal their state of matter (solid, liquid, or gas) at a given temperature and pressure. At a typical atmospheric pressure, we know that water is a solid at temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius, a liquid from 0 to 100 degrees Celsius, and a gas at higher temperatures. Atmospheric pressure, however, can change, particularly with altitude. Higher altitudes yield lower atmospheric pressures

⭕EXAMPLE :Dry Ice

➡️As mentioned earlier, dry ice is one of the most popular examples of sublimation in real life. As the solid form of carbon dioxide, dry ice creates a smoky effect that is commonly used in ice cream parlors today. Because the substance is relatively safe to handle, it is often used for classroom demonstrations.

...... ALONE BUT HAPPY.......

Hope it helps you!!!!

SUBLIMATION

  • Change of solid state directly to gaseous state without going through liquid state is called sublimation.
  • Examples :- Moth Ballsz, Freeze Drying, Air Fresheners, Dry Ice, Naphthalene balls etc.

Uses of Sublimation

  • It is used by the chemist to purify compounds.
  • The air freshener are used in washrooms. The air freshener sublimes and releases smell.
  • Dry ice is used in cooling at a room temperature.
