sublimation is the process of converting solid form of a substance directly into vapour and vise versa without under going liquid form is called sublimation.

some of the sublimable substance are
# dry ice
# camphor
# ammonium chloride

This occurs because the substances absorbs energy so quickly from surrounding that melting never occurs.
For example dry ice or solod co2 sublimer
Snow and ice can sublime in the winter time .
