sublimation is the transition office of substance directly from the solid to the gas phase without passing through liquid intermediate process. So, all solids that poses an appreciable vapour pressure at a certain temperature usually can sublime in air and water just below zero degree celsius

Sublimation is a process by which a solid changes directly into gaseous state without changing into liquid state.

For example : dry ice i. e. Solid carbon dioxide changes directly into vapour state on heating without changing into liquid state.
