sublimation is process in which a solid directly changes into gaseous state without passing through liquid state

ex : naphthalene balls kept in a place , disappear after some time due to sublimation

camphor , when heated changes from solid to gaseous state

Sublimation means the change of state from solid to gas without Changing into liquid and vice versa.
example of this is :- the heating of naphthalene balls ...it changes directly from solid to gas without changing into liquid...
we can use other substances for this activity like camphor (karpoor),naphthalene balls..
