A consistent system of equations has at least one solution, and an inconsistent system has no solution. ex 2x=10.

Answer:

The pair of equations containing two different variables, generally, x and y

Their standard form is:

p₁(x,y)=a₁x+b₁y+c₁=0

p₂(x,y)=a₂x+b₂y+c₂=0

When, the ratios of their coefficient are, such that:

a1/a2≠b1/b2

or a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2

then, the pair of eq.ⁿ are consistent

But, when: a1/a2=b1/b2≠c1/c2

then, they are non consistent
