The “alpha” (α) constant is known as the temperature coefficient of resistance, and symbolizes the resistance change factor per degree of temperature change.

It's SI unit is per degree celsius or ( /°C).

Hey !!

Fractional change in resistance per 1°C rise in temperature is called temperature coefficient of resistance.

              α = Rt - R₀ / R₀ × t  ( 1°C⁻¹ or 1K⁻¹ )

Good luck !!
