❎Somatic cell is a biological cell which forms the body of an organism.

❎Germ cell is also biological cell which give rise to gamets of organism that reproduces sexually.

✨DIFFERENCE BETWEEN----------

i) Germ cell only contain one set of chromosomes while somatic cell contain diploid number of chromosomes.

ii) Germ cell are produced by the process of meiosis whereas somatic cells are produced by the process of mitosis or cytokinesis .
