Terminating decimals are the decimals which terminate or ends....

E. G -- 5.18/2 = 2.59

that means it ends... so it's a terminating decimal...

Non terminating decimals are the numbers which does not end.... here the division will go on... it has no end

E. G -- 2/3 = 0.6666666667
