Answer:

a) Matter- Matter is the "stuff" that makes up the universe — everything that takes up space and has mass is matter. All matter is made up of atoms, which are in turn made up of protons, neutrons and electrons.

b) Latent Heat Of Vaporisation-Latent heat of vaporization is the heat consumed or discharged when matter disintegrates, changing stage from fluid to gas stage at a consistent temperature.

c) Boiling Point-Boiling point, temperature at which the pressure exerted by the surroundings upon a liquid is equaled by the pressure exerted by the vapour of the liquid; under this condition, addition of heat results in the transformation of the liquid into its vapour without raising the temperature.

d) Latent Heat of fusion-The amount of heat required to change 1 g of a substance at the temperature of its melting point from the solid to the liquid state without changing temperature.

e) Sublimation - The process of conversion of Solid directly in liquid is sublimation.

f) Evaporation -It is the process of Converting Liquid into gas.
