Terrace Farming means that As on mountains they do not have any plain area we only have sloping surface so as on mountains soil would be there first a Fall terrace Farming is the method of soil conservation so as on mountains some or much soil comes by wind and it settles there and it can be exhausted by rain
if rain is there that soil mixed with water and it is removed from there so to prevent the soil in getting over or we can say that it is taken some where by several agents such as water we cut the sloping surface and give them the shape of W .
So if rain falls, it will not being able to take it and it will deposit it on that W also the speed of water will slow down because of that surface(W). so like this soil cam be conserve
