Hey mate a terrestrial habitat,in simple language can be said as the shelter where all the animals live above the ground,I.e, trees,eg. Monkeys, apes etc. Whereas all animals who consider water as their living area have aquatic habitats.eg. fishes,octopus etc.

sunitodevi92: The area found on the earths surface, supportive for organisms living on it is called as terrestrial habitat, whereas, the areas under water which is supportive for the organisms living in it is called as an aquatic habitat.
