The factors on which angle of deviation depends are as follows :-

(i) The angle of deviation first decreases with increase in angle of incidence then after reaching the minimum it again starts increasing.

(ii) The angle of deviation is inversely proportional to the refractive index.

(iii) The angle of deviation is directly proportional to angle of prism.

(iv) The angle of deviation is inversely proportional to wavelength.
