atmosphere is an envelope of air , that surrounds the earth surface . it's relatively a thin layer containing gases , dust particles , water vapour which protect and cover our earth as a blanket.

atmosphere contains oxygen  - it's the main gas for the survival for living organisms.

carbon - di - oxide in the atmosphere  is needed for the plants to perform photosynthesis.
