the bond length is the length of one atom with another atom in a same compound so in this you can understand that what is the relation between the bond strength and the bond length. ok let me say about is a bond length and Bond strength, the bond strength assistant of the bond in which the atoms are closely packed to each other for suppose if you take a pen ,the pen cannot be broken as easy as you can so by this we can say that the bond present inside the atoms are too strong. when you take chalk peice you can find that you can easily break it because it Bond are loosely packed so if the bond length is too small then the bond strength increases this is because when the bond length is too small, it is very hard to break the bond length with that smalls size so it is hard possible to break the bond length of small length, so it has the bond strength more. this is a relation between the bond length and Bond strength. as per we can say that the bond length is inversely proportional to the bond strength
