Centre of curvature is the centre of the sphere from which the lens is made.

In simple words,

We know, that the lenses either concave or convex is a part of a sphere. The spheres must have a centre right? So, this centre of sphere is known as centre of curvature. There are two centre of curvatures in lens cause obviously the lenses are part of two spheres.

The attachment is an example for convex lens.

Cheers!
