A URL stands for uniform resource locator. There are three parts in a URL the first one starts with a transfer protocol determining the security and transfer certificate. The second one is the domain name followed by TLDs, which are connectors to different servers, a domain name is an address or a text form of  an online server IP address

Functions of a stem in a plant:

1) Support the leaves, flowers and fruits. The stems keep the leaves in the light and provide a place for the plant to keep its flowers and fruits.

2) Transport of water from the roots to different parts of the plant.

3) Storage of nutrients

4) Transport of food from the leaves to different parts of the plant.

5) Production of new living tissue. Stems have cells called meristems that generate new living tissue.
