Answer:
a) A reaction in which an insoluble soli substance is formed is called precipitation reaction. Double displacement reactions are precipitation reactions.
ex: Na2SO4+BaCl2=BaSO4+2NaCl
(precipitate)
b) During a chemical change, when bonds are formed energy ( mostly in the form of heat ) is evolved or given out, such reactions in which heat is evolved along with the formation of new products is called exothermic reactions.
ex: C+O2=CO2+393.7kJ(heat=-393.7kJ)
c) A reaction in which two reacting molecules exchange their partner ions in aqueous solution is double displacement reactions.
ex: AgNO3+NaCl=AgCl+NaNO3
