Question: Define the female reproductive system.
Solution:
The parts of the system which support pregnancy in a female body is known as female reproductive system.
The Female reproductive parts consists of accessory ducts, accessory glands, ovaries.
The female gametes are known as ova which are produced in the ovary.
The ovary is followed by the Fallopian tube which has 3 parts known as infundibulum , isthmus and ampulla. the infundibulum has finger like projections known as fimbriae .
The fallopian tube continues to form the uterus. which is followed by vagina and cervix.
The accesory glands includes mammary gland.
the above parts mentioned are included in the female reproductive parts .
