Arteries:

• Arteries are the blood vessels which delivers the oxygen-rich blood from the heart to tissues of the body.

• They carries blood away from the heart.

Veins:

• Veins are the blood vessels which carries blood towards the heart.

• They return deoxygenated blood from the organs return to the heart.

Capillaries:

• Capillaries are the blood vessels which connects arterioles to venules.

• They helps in the exchange of nutrients and wastes between the blood.

Excretion:

• Excretion is the process of removal of nitrogenous waste from the body.

• Excretion involves the organs :- A pair of kidney, A pair of ureter, urinary bladder, liver and urethra.

Transpiration:

• Transpiration is the exhalation of water vapours in the plants through stomata.

• Transpiration process in the plants keeps cell turgid and it helps in the movement of minerals from roots to other parts of the plants.
