Answer:

here is your answer

Explanation:

(a) chemical composition

Chemical composition can be defined as the arrangement, ratio, and type of atoms in molecules of chemical substances. The chemical composition will vary if chemicals are subtracted or added from a substance. That is when the ratio of the substance changes or when chemical changes occur in the chemicals.

(b) Chemical decomposition reaction.

Chemical decomposition, or chemical breakdown, is the process or effect of simplifying a single chemical entity into two or more fragments. Chemical decomposition is usually regarded and defined as the exact opposite of chemical synthesis.

Dear students ☺️ here is your answer ;-

(a) Chemical composition is defined as the relative ratio of the atoms in a molecule or a compound considering their particular arrangement in a substance.

❍For example, silk and wool are proteins and composed of amino acids linked together to form protein chains.

❍For eg : H2O contains Hydrogen and Oxygen in the ratio of 2:1.

❍CO2 contains carbon and Oxygen in the ratio 1:2

(b) A decomposition reaction is a type of chemical reaction in which a single compound breaks down into two or more elements or new compounds.

These reactions often involve an energy source such as heat, light, or electricity that breaks apart the bonds of compounds.

❍ This reaction is usually endothermic because heat is required to break the bonds present in the substance.

❍ Example of Decomposition Of Calcium Carbonate On Heating It Decomposes And Carbon Dioxide Gas Is Evolved Along With Formation Of Calcium Oxide Or Quicklime

Many uses of chemical decomposition are :-

❍(i) it is used in the extractions of metals like K , Na etc

(ii) it also used in calcination of ores to convert the carbonate ore into oxide ore.

(iii) manufacturing of cemen

Hope this answers your question,

Cheers! :)
