External fertilization is the process which takes place outside the mother's body. Like in fish and reptiles.
Budding is the type of reproduction where a small outgrowth called bud arises and a bit of nucleus enters to the bud. After growing it separates from the parent. Ex in yeast and hydra.

External fertilisation - the fertilisation which occurs outside the female body is called external fertilisation

....eg..in amphibians like frogs and toads and fishes etc the fertilisation of eggs occurs outside the female animals body which takes place by collisions between sperms and eggs in water in which they live.

Budding - in budding a small part of body of a parent organism grows out as a bud which then detaches and becomes new organism..it is asexual reproduction eg budding in yeast and hydra
