Galvanisation:-

Galvanisation is the process of applying a layer of Zinc (Zn) on the surface of iron or steel objects so as to prevent rusting.

Working Principle:-

  • It creates a protective coating that sheilds the metal from the surrounding environment.
  • The layer of Zn prevents water & moisture and other elements in the surrounding from coming in contact with the metal object which may cause corrosion.
