Hey!!!!....here is ur answer

INTERMOLECULAR SPACE------The space is there because all atoms vibrate and also carry certain atomic charges. These charges are quite often NET zero, but there are still charges, or partial charges present in molecules.

INTERMOLECULAR FORCE------Intermolecular FORCE . intermolecular forces  (IMF) are the forces  which mediate interaction between molecules, including forces  of attraction or repulsion which act between molecules and other types of neighboring particles

Hope it will help you ☺
