Atomic number: Number of protons in the nucleus gives atomic number of an elements. It is denoted by Z.
Mass number: The sum of total number of protons and total number of neutrons present in the necleus of an atom gives mass number.
Isotopes: The atoms of same elements with same atomic number but different mass number.
Isobars: Atoms of different elements with different atomic number but same mass number are called isobars.
