Answer:

Predation is the ecological process by which energy is transferred from living animal to living animal based on the behavior of a predator that captures and kills a prey before eating it. ... In terms of conservation, this is sometimes critical for the survival of local predator populations.

hope it helps you...

Parasitism: The type of interaction in which one organism(parasite) feeds on another organisms (host)cells or tissues but usually doesn’t kill the host. In this mode parasite is benefitted while the host is harmed.

Predation : The type of interaction in which one organism (predator) feeds on another organism (prey). In this predator is benefitted while prey is harmed. It results in the death of the prey.

Commensalism: the interaction in which one organism interacts with another (host) but the latter does not have any negative or positive effect while the former is benefitted.

Mutualism: The type of interaction which both the organisms involved in interaction is benefitted. This type of interaction is seen in lichens and also between clown fish and some species of sea anemone
