Speed:

It is the distance traveled by time taken.

Average speed :

It is the ratio of total distance travelled to the total time taken.

Uniform speed:

If an object covers equal distance in equal intervals of time then the body is said to have uniform speed.

Non uniform speed :

If an object doesn't cover equal distance in equal intervals of time then the body is said to have non uniform speed.

Speed is a scalar quantity.

Scalar quantity : A quantity which does not depend on direction
