>> Sublimation : When Solids directly convert from solid to gas without going through liquid state, this "jump" is called Sublimation.

Example : i) Camphor (without mixed gas) on heating will convert into gas.

ii) Amoniam Chloride also on heating converts into gas.

iii) Dry ice, or Solid CO₂ can directly change from solid to gaseous state.

>> Evaporation : It is a surphace phenomenon, where the state of liquid changes to gas, before reaching the boiling point.

Here are factors that effect evaporation:-

  • Radiation

  • Temperature

  • Surface area

  • Wind.

>> Centrifugation : Centrifugation is done applying a "centrifugal" force for the sedimentation of heterogeneous mixture with centrifuge.

  • Example : Used to make wipped cream from milk.

>> Chromatography : Chromatography is the process by which organic and inorganic compound can be separated from a mixture.

  • Example: Used to check spoilage of food in industries.

Answer:

Evaporation-Separate solid substance that has dissolved in water.

Sublimation is the conversion between the solid and the gaseous phases of matter, with no intermediate liquid stage. For those of us interested in the water cycle, sublimation is most often used to describe the process of snow and ice changing into water vapor in the air without first melting into water.

Centrifugation is a method in which solid or liquid particles of different densities are separated by rotating them in the tube in a horizontal circle. Chromatography is a technique of separating the constituents of a mixture of liquids. It is also used for gases.
