1) Avagadro constant is a constant given by Avagadro. That is represented by N.The value is 6.023×10²³
2)Mole is defined as the no.of gram atoms of an element present in 12 g of carbon atom
3)Molar mass is defined as the sum of all atomic weights of all elements in a compound.
4)Atomic number is defined as the number of protons present in an element
5)Mass number is defined as the sum of number of protons and neutrons.
6)Electronic Configuration is defined as the configuration given to an element which is easy to identify the outer electrons. It is the order of elements which is filled with electrons, orbitals, etc
7)Valency is defined as the combining capacity of an element
8)Isobar is defined as the elements which have same number of mass number.
9)Isotope is defined as the elements which have same number of protons.
10)Formula unit mass is defined as the sum of the atomic masses of all the atoms in the formula unit of a compound.

a)Avogadro constant :- one mole of atom/molecule/ ions are equal to 6.023 x 10^23 atoms /molcules/ ions .
this 6.023 x 10^23 is known as Avogadro constant.
b)mole:-one mole is defined as the number of carbon atoms presrnt in 12g of pure C12 isotope.
c) molar mass:-sum of mass of all elements present in a molecule is called molecular mass and the mass of one mole of a molecule is called molar mass .
d) àtomic no :- sum of protons and neutrons present in one atom of any elementis known as atomic no .
e) mass no:- the mass of one atom of any element is called atomic mass or mass no (due to this is relative number)
f) electronic configuration :-the order in which electrons are filled in the orbitals , according to electronic configuration rule.
e.g. 1s<2s<2p<3s<3p..............
example :- Na atomic no =11
its electronic configuration is 1s^2,2s^2, 2p^6, 3s^1
g) valency :-valency is positive integer which indicate vacent of orbitals of an elements.
example:-
Na valency is 1
(h) isobar:- atoms of different elements having same mass number.
example:- C 14 and N 14 are isobar
(i)isotope :- atoms of same element having different mass number.
example:- 6 C12 and 6 C14 are isotope
formula unit mass :- sum of mass of all elements present in a chemical formula .
example:-
Al2Cl3 formula mass =27 x 2 + 35.5 x 3
= 54+106.5=160.5 u
this 6.023 x 10^23 is known as Avogadro constant.
