1) intrusive rocks are also called plutonic plutonic rock. igneous rocks formed from magma forced into older rocks at depths within the earth crust which then slowly solidifies below the earth's surface though it may later may exposed by erosion. igneous intrusions from a variety of rock types.

2)extrusive rock refers to a mode of igneous volcanic rock formation in which hot magma from inside the earth flows out onto the surface as lava aur explodes violently into the atmosphere to fall back as pyroclastics aur tuff. in in contrast intrusive rock refers to rock formed by magma which cools below the surface.
