(1) Chalazogamy: In this process the pollen tube enters into the ovule through the chalaza. This method was given by in Casuarina by Treub in 1891. eg. Betula and Juglans (walnut).

(2) Porogamy: In this method pollen tube comes into the one through the micropyle directly. It is found in most of angiosperms i.e. Capsella.

(3) Mesogamy: In this method, pollen tube enters into the ovule either through integuments e.g. Cucurbita or through the funiculus les, Pistacia and Populus.
