(a) Pollination:-

Pollination is the act of transferring pollen grains from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma. The goal of every living organism, including plants, is to create offspring for the next generation. One of the ways that plants can produce offspring is by making seeds.

(b) Fertilization:-

Fertilization is the fusion of haploid gametes, egg, and sperm, to form the diploid zygote. Note though there can be subtle differences in the fertilization process which occurs naturally within the body or through reproductive technologies outside the body, the overall product in both cases is a diploid zygote.

a) Pollination is the process of transfer of male gametes (pollen grains) in plants from the male reproductive part (anther) to the female reproductive part (stigma).

b) Fertilization is the process of fusion of haploid male and female gametes to form a diploid zygote to initiate the development of a new individual.
