a. Sambiotic relationship :- Symbiotic relationships are a special type of interaction between species. Sometimes beneficial, sometimes harmful, these relationships are essential to many organisms and ecosystems, and they provide a balance that can only be achieved by working together.

b. Nutrients :- Nutrients are compounds in foods essential to life and health, providing us with energy, the building blocks for repair and growth and substances necessary to regulate chemical processes. There are six major nutrients: Carbohydrates (CHO), Lipids (fats), Proteins, Vitamins, Minerals, Water.

c. Saprotrophic mode of nutrition :- The mode of nutrition in which non-green plants take in nutrients in solution form from dead and decaying matter is called saprophytic or saprotrophic nutrition. Fungi, mushrooms, yeast and many bacteria are examples of saprophytes.

d. Photosynthesis :- Photosynthesis is the process by which plants and other things make food. It is an endothermic (takes in heat) chemical process that uses sunlight to turn carbon dioxide into sugars that the cell can use as energy. As well as plants, many kinds of algae, protists and bacteria use it to get food.
