1)displacement-it is the smallest distance covered by an object from one point to another it is a vector quantity

2)distance-it is the total distance covered by an object from one point to another

3)motion along straight line-it is the motion of a body over a straight line

4)uniform motion -IT IS THE EQUAL DISTANCE COVERED BY THE BODY IN EQUAL INTERVALS OF TIME

5)POINT OBJECT-IT IS A POINT WHICH IS CONSIDERED AS A BODY FOR EXPERIMENT PURPOSE

Displacement can be defined as the Shortest distance coververd by a body

Total length covered by a body is known as distance.

A motion in one dimension is also as linear motion

When a body covers equal distance in equal interval of time then motion is uniform

When body covers unequal distance in equal interval of time.

The distance between the observer and object is too large as compared to object size then object is considered as point object.

Hope it helps you
