chipko andolan- this movement is takes place because to secure our trees .. this was started by amrita devi bishnoi ..she was a villager lives in rajasthan..she wants to safe the trees from contractors ..so all the villager hud the trees tightly for not to cut them..this movemnet is also known as hug the trees movements
