Organic Acid :

▶ An organic acid is an organic compound with acidic properties.

Eg↪

  • Citric acid (C6H8O7), malic acid (C4H6O5), tartaric acid (C4H6O6), oxalic acid (C2H2O4) and lactic acid (C3H6O6) etc. are some examples of organic acids

Inorganic acid :

▶Inorganic acid is a compound consisting of hydrogen and non-metallic elements or their groups

Eg↪

  • hydrochloric acid (HCI), nitric acid (HNO3), boric acid (H3BO3), sulfuric acid (of H2SO4), carbonic acid (H2CO3), phosphoric acid (of H3PO4), etc.

Hydra Acid :

▶an acid that does not contain oxygen.

Eg↪

  • hydrochloric acid, HCl

Oxy Acid( oxyacid):

▶ternary acid is an acid that contains oxygen.

Eg↪

  • Sulfuric acid (H2SO4), phosphoric acid (H3PO4), and nitric acid (HNO3) are all oxyacids
