Hypermetropia is also known as far-sightedness. A person with hypermentropia can see distant objects clearly but cannot see nearby objects distinctly. Because the image is formed behind the retina. The near point, for the person, is farther away from the normal point(25cm).
This may due to:-
1.Decrease in curvature of the eye lens.
2.Decrease in the length of the eye ball.
