definition of all parts of speech:

noun: all naming words including the name of persons, places, animals or things are called noun.

pronoun:Words which are used in place of nouns are called pronouns.

adjective: words which qualify or modify any noun or pronoun are called adjectives.

verb: a verb is a word which shows some work.all action words are called verb.

adverb: words which modify or add to the meaning of verb,adjective or another adverb are called adverbs.

preposition : a preposition is a word used before noun or pronoun to show its relation to some other words in a sentence.

conjunction : conjunction is a joining word.it joins two or more words , phrases, clauses or sentences.

interjection : words which express some sudden feelings of heart are called interjection.

sometimes article is also considered in the part of speech.

Article : A, An and The are called articles.
