The principal of homogeneity states that the existing equations which are derived from other physical quantites should havr the same dimesnions as of the first quantity. In general the dimensions of two equations should be equal. For eg: we we look at kinetic energy and potential energy both havr two different formule and derviation but at last both the quantites have dimensions same as Engergy I.e ML^2T(-^2)
