Generally the solids on heating are converted into liquids and on further heating the liquids are converted into gases But there are certain substances which on heating are converted directly into gaseous state from the solid state and when cooled are directly converted into solid state This process is called SUBLIMATION and such substances undergoing sublimation process are called SUBLIME SUBSTANCES
