The equation that relates wavelength and frequency for electromagnetic waves is: λν=c where λ is the wavelength, ν is the frequency and c is the speed of light. f = frequency of the wave, v = velocity or speed of the wave. The wavelength and frequency of a wave are inversely proportional to each other both are directly proportional to the velocity of the wave.
