➡️Copper acts as a spermicide(sperm killing) within the uterus. The presence of copper increases the levels of copper ions, prostaglandins, and white blood cells within the uterus hence causing destroying sperms.

Now a days pills for males are also available.These pills kill the sperms and hence they are known as spermicides.The use of intra-uterine device called as copper-T loop is also very effective in preventing pregnancy.
