define the scalars and vectors give two examples of each


ziniyakhan: Scalar quantities : Those physical quantities which has only magnitude and no direction are known as scalar quantities . Mass , time , energy , volume , speed , temperature , work , pressure , electric charge , current and potential are the examples of scalar quantities .
ziniyakhan: Vector quantities :-Those physical quantities which have magnitude as well as direction and follow the rules of vectors, are known as vector quantities . Acceleration , velocity ,momentum , force , impluse , torque , etc . are example of vector quantities .
