amorphous is a type of solid whose melting and boiling points are not sharp
when the amorphous solids are broken they do not have sharp ends
they are isotropic in nature i.e thermal conductivity is not same through out the object, they are also porous in nature
eg. metallic glasses

Solids having constituent particles with irregular with shapes and short range order are called amorphous solids. Amorphous solids are isotropic in nature and melt over a range of temperature.
Thus, amorphous solids are also referred as pseudo solids or super cooled liquids.
Examples:-
Glass, rubber, etc. .
