A mutualistic relationship is when two organisms of different species "work together," each benefiting from the relationship. One example of amutualistic relationship is that of the oxpecker (a kind of bird) and the rhinoceros or zebra.

Mutualism:
- Mutualism is a type of relationship where the organisms involved are both benefited by means of their daily life, but they don’t stay together or permanently.
- For example: Bees help in the pollination of the entomophilous flower. Bees are benefited by means of consumption of nectar. The plant is benefited by means of its pollination and fertilization.
- Thus, both the organisms are benefited. But, they don’t stay together. The relationship is also not permanent. This is a perfect example of Mutualism.
