Answer:

a cell is the smallest unit of life which performs a specific function. mitochondria, plastid, ribosome, rough and smooth endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, lysosome, vacuoles are cell organelles. cell wall ( in plant, Monera, fungi) and nucleus are required for developing of cell.

None of them are called the structural and functional unit of life because the functions and structures of cell organelle cumulatively sum up to the function of the cell. However, an individual organelle is incapable of carrying all the activities of a cell.

Answer:

The cell is the structural and functional unit of the body. It builds up our body and takes part in various life processes.Every cell arises from their pre-existing cells. Every part of plants and animals whether it be leaves of a plant or muscles of an animal.

The different organelles that form the cell are mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, lybosomes, cell wall (in plants) , centrosome (in animals only) , Chrosomes and the main part which is the nucleus.

Unity is strength. Like in our body any one organ cannot perform all functions similarly one organelle cannot conduct all the functions and can neither form the structure of the body. Thus all of them contribute to the ability of a cell of performing different functions.
