Answer:

a cell is the smallest unit of life which performs a specific function.

mitochondria, plastid, ribosome, rough and smooth endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, lysosome, vacuoles are cell organelles. cell wall ( in plant, Monera, fungi) and nucleus are required for developing of cell

Although cell organelles have specific structures and perform specific functions but they cannot be called structural and functional units of living organisms. This is so because they can perform their functions only when they are within a living cell. They cannot function outside the cell as an independent unit

cell is a basic structural and functional unit for life for all forms of life

it's organelles are ribosomes

mithochondria , soft endoplasmic reticulum, rough endoplasmic reticulum, centriole (in animals) ,golgi apperatus, lysosomes, plastids ( chloroplast, present in plants only)

none of these are termed as structural and functional unit of life because structure and function of cell organelle don't effect function s of living creature
